Join us on a horseback pack trip into the rugged beauty of the Bob Marshall Wilderness Area. For 5-7 days you'll be a part of the quiet remoteness of the most scenic country there is. Our friendly saddle horses and  mules will carry you, your family and/or friends into  the most pristine wilderness areas in the lower 48. You'll get a chance to see the famous "Chinese Wall", catch hundreds of fish, and just have lots of family fun while enjoying the great outdoors.

You'll be accompanied by a Guide, Camp Cook, and our Horse Wranglers. They take care of everything for you, so you can focus on enjoying your vacation. We head out right from the ranch. We usually set our trips up with plenty of layover days for anyone who might be a little green in the saddle, so they can heal up. To help with being saddle sore we try to stop on the trail every hour or so to let everyone take a break and work out some kinks from the days ride. All of our trips are very well organized, and set up to make you and your party comfortable. That's our main goal here at the Benchmark Wilderness Ranch, we want you to have a wonderful time with us, and come back year after year. The meals are worth it themselves, our guests have told us time and time again that they eat better with us in a week, than they have all year. So come give us a try and see for yourself just how fun the mountains of Montana can be.
Leave the "Modern World" behind for a week. Come clear your mind, and breathe in the fresh mountain air in our Beautiful Big Sky Country!
